My Background
I am an experienced consultant and data strategist working remotely. I am living and grew up in Chicago, IL but I have lived in Australia, China, and Cincinnati prior.
Both my parents work in the medical fields (stem cell research last time I checked), so I decided to do something else. Additionally, I am big Chicago sports fan: Bulls, Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks all the way! I enjoy collecting sneakers, analyzing data (sneakers, markets, etc), playing sports (basketball and swimming), playing music (alto sax and piano), cooking, hanging out with friends, creating YouTube videos, and reading cool stories in my free time.
Why write about Finance?
I feel so blessed to have been raised in an environment that allowed me the opportunities and I hope to pay it forward through this blog. I have been studying/working in finance now for many years now and I want to consolidate my knowledge to benefit society and the world in which I live. Through this blog, I hope to break down and simplify some of the most important concepts I feel everybody needs to know in order to be financially independent.
